UCanRead, a local organization dedicated to helping children overcome learning disabilities, is sponsoring a child in our community. The money raised will go towards education and counselling for “Joseph” who at the age of 15 suffers from learning disabilities, anxiety and depression and can no longer attend regular school. One of the more gripping items in the news these days is Youth at Risk. Your help can save him and others like him. You can make a difference!
A team of “guardian angels” is organizing a poker night fundraiser on November 26 in hopes of raising enough money to help Joseph grow and learn. The money raised will provide the funds for a team of tutors, counsellors and social workers to ensure that Joseph will learn that life is worth living and that his goals can be reached! All other donations and support of any kind will be gratefully appreciated.
